O Último Azul" (The Blue Trail) is a Brazilian dystopian drama
directed by Gabriel Mascaro. The film follows 77-year-old Tereza,portrayed by Denise Weinberg, who, upon learning of a
government mandate relocating the elderly to distant colonies to boost economic productivity, embarks on a journey through the Amazon to fulfill her lifelong dream of flying in an airplane. Along the way, she encounters various individuals, including Cadu (Rodrigo Santoro), a sailor who introduces her to mystical rituals involving a rare blue snail.
